# Machine Learning Projects

## Project 

On the **Project Review List** page, users can submit applications, such as:

* Project applications
* GPU quota applications
* Period extension requests

> 🔄 If the application status is **\[Reviewing]**, users can **withdraw** the application.

### Project Statuses

| Status        | Description                                                                    |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Reviewing     | Waiting for admin approval.                                                    |
| Approved      | Approved by admin but not yet started.                                         |
| Active        | Project is active and all functions are available.                             |
| Declined      | Declined by admin. Reason available via email.                                 |
| Buffer Period | 14-day grace period after expiration. Containers are auto-deleted post-period. |

### Create Project

To create a new project:

1. Click the **\[Create Project]** icon.
2. Fill in the required fields:
   * **Project Name**
   * **Start and End Time**
   * **Project Members** (at least one)
   * **Project Purpose**
3. Submit for admin review.

> 📧 After approval, a **notification email** will be sent with the review result.

### Edit / Delete Project

#### Edit Project:

Only **project managers** can edit:

* Name & description
* Project members and admin roles

#### Delete Project:

* Deletes all **containers and jobs** in the project.
* Requires a **verification code** to confirm deletion.

> ⚠️ **Irreversible Action** — Always back up important data.

### Project Extension Application

To extend a project:

1. Click the icon in the top-right of the project card.
2. Select **"Period Extension"**.
3. Enter the number of days and submit.

> 📅 Once approved, the project start date icon turns red. Click it to view new start/end dates.

### Project Expiration Reminder

If a project reaches its end date without a submitted extension:

* A **notification email** is sent
* A **14-day buffer period** starts
* No new resources can be created
* Containers are auto-deleted after the buffer

> ⚠️ Be sure to apply for an extension in time to avoid losing work!
